Jeff Lowe

CEO

Jeff Lowe is the CEO of The Fortis Company, LLC. Jeff was the founder and former CEO of Hardware Resources(HR), Designer’s Hardware Corporation, and the owner of Ellis Millwork. Jeff started his career with South States, Inc., a Shreveport based hardware Distribution Company. Jeff started in sales and worked his way up to Vice President of Sales and Marketing during his five years with the company.

Jeff has over 32 years of hardware, cabinet and building product experience serving a national market. He also has more than 30  years of Asian sourcing and more than 20 years in China.

Jeff speaks some Mandarin Chinese and has extensive knowledge of Chinese culture and business practice with many business contacts in Guangdong and other provinces.

Tammie Lowe

CFO

Tammie Lowe is a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of The Fortis Company, a real estate holding company involved in the acquisition, renovation, development, management, and building from the ground up multi-family and industrial assets. Prior to forming Fortis, Tammie was employed by Hardware Resources (HR) from 1990 to 2010, working in almost every department over her 20 years of service.

She wore all hats at HR in the early years, sometimes beginning the day in the inside sales department and ending the day as the shipping manager. During the period from 2000 to 2010, she held the title of Controller, Credit Manager, Information Technology (IT) Manager, and Software Implementation Manager.

Tammie has 20 years of accounting and IT experience and is a power user of Excel, Word, Peachtree, XE and other accounting software. She has developed trainer level skills and experience with Real Page over the past few years as she completed the set up of this online multi-family program for Fortis.

Accounting Manager

Kelli began her career in public accounting approximately five years after graduating from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in and moving to the Shreveport/Bossier area.   

Kelli was employed by Hardware Resources from 2008-2011 and joined The Fortis Company January of 2012. Kelli is married to Craig Williams and adores her dogs, Annabelle and Cooper.  Kelli enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and cherishes her South Louisiana culture and traditions.
